Process Engineer I

What is the role about?

An associate or early mid-level Process Engineer has a passion for solving customer problems by designing innovative and robust solutions for the industrial process and manufacturing industries. This individual will apply their passion for automation and controls combined with Endress+Hauser measurement instrumentation products to provide measurement solutions that optimize customer processes with safety and reliability.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of multidisciplinary engineers and project managers to explore new and creative solutions to meet the strategic business objectives of profitability, schedule, and customer expectations. You will be responsible for design, calculations, documentation, specification, programming, testing, and on-site commissioning. You will be given the autonomy to create new repeatable solutions offerings and work on unique applications for our customers. You will be expected to continuously learn and grow your technical and professional skills with the support from the team, management, and organization.

Which tasks will you perform?

• Assist in designing and implementing custom process solutions
• Create Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) under supervision
• Perform basic process simulations and calculations with guidance
• Assist in specifying process equipment
• Maintain basic technical knowledge of all Endress+Hauser product lines to support basic customer queries
• Assist in reviewing design specifications and bid packages

What do we expect from you?

You will have (required):

• Bachelor's degree Engineering or Technology and 2+ years experience in relevant field
• Familiarity with automation tools and software (e.g., PLCs, SCADA systems)
• Working knowledge of process calculations and control loop strategies
• Basic industry knowledge and some hands-on experience
• Travel required: approximately 10%

You may have (preferred):

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Ability to edit and design using AutoCAD Electrical software
• Basic experience with AutoCAD and process engineering simulation software
• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings
