Purpose/ Summary: The Material Handler position is responsible for moving and transferring raw material, detail parts, sub-assemblies, final assemblies, reworked and miscellaneous components through all of the phases of manufacturing and testing processes. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, acetone, alcohol, argon, braze alloys, nitrogen, hydrogen, oil based lubricants and cleaning solutions; occasionally exposure to moderate cold and extreme heat; noise level in the work environment is usually middling. Fork truck utilization is a large portion of the role. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; ability to communicate verbally and have the ability to hear; required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or crouch; occasionally required to sit; must regularly lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds; vision abilities required by this job include close vision. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $23.00- $30,00 hourly. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, and geographic location.
