TITLE: Business Unit Manager GRADE: Exempt DEPARTMENT: Whitesboro, NY POSITION SUMMARY: Directs and coordinates activities of assigned business unit (BU) within the business in a manner which produces quality products in accordance with customer requirements at the greatest possible profit to the Company. Responsible for working within the corporate strategic and policy framework as set by the General Manager; implementing business policies and plans through direct management of the functional areas of the BU. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Operations Manager. All employees directly supporting the assigned business unit report to the Strategic Business Unit Manager. This includes Supervisor(s), Direct Operators, Production Control/Planner-Scheduler, Quality Engineer(s), CNC Programmers and Manufacturing Engineer(s). All direct labor within the BU report up through the Supervisor(s). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Utilize experience and knowledge to initiate, establish, and maintain methods for controlling the quality and integrity of all systems, processes and procedures related to the product.

EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree in engineering - Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace or other relevant discipline is required from an accredited college or university. Must have a minimum of five years experience in working with database systems and software for management of quality requirements (ISO9000 / AS9100, PFMEA, Control Plan, PQAP, FAI, ISO9002). A minimum of five years of aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $100,000- $140,000 annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, and geographic location.
