Overview
Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Specialist II, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. The Inventory Specialist will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will perform inventory management functions associated with the maintenance of related records and documentation for the receipt, storage, custody, and issue of consumables, tools, bulks, spares, equipment, and permanent plant material to be received at any AEDC location. These activities will include reporting of warehousing activities, stock code development, material movement across the site, bench stock, provide oversight of min/max levels, and other inventory related activities. This position will also support the use of common work processes and procedures within assigned function across the TOS II contract.
Job Duties:
* Reports to and receives operational direction from the BNH Material Manager.
* Reviews and facilitates material receipts of Air Force Contracts.
* Oversight Unsatisfactory, Over, Short & Damaged Report to record unsatisfactory, over, short and damage conditions of material received and maintains UOS&D Log.
* Oversees and performs stock code requirements and development
* Ensures that material is stored in accordance with established storage requirements and that the location of material in storage is properly reflected on the appropriate storage records (manually or automated).
* Performs complete or partial inventories as required to validate inventory records.
* Assists Acquisitions supervision with the overall responsibility of maintaining custody of material.
* Ensures issues of material are properly controlled and documented in accordance with AEDC procedures.
* Assist with coordination disposal of surplus material in accordance with AEDC policies and procedures.
* Maintains register to control industrial gases bottle log, returnable reel log, and returnable containers.
* Maintains and reports repairable material stored in inventory.
* Coordinate calibration of equipment stored in inventory.
* Maintains a direct working relationship with the AEDC Branches concerning the receipt and availability of material.
* Maintains a direct working relationship with Purchasing concerning material delivery schedules and shipments.
* Maintains a direct working relationship with Finance regarding verification of material received.
* It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
* Perform other related duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
* Associate's degree from an accredited university in Business Management or related discipline, plus 2 years of material management and/or related experience. In lieu of a degree, 4 years of material management and/or related experience.
* Proficient in organizing tasks for completion by an agreed deadline.
* Knowledge of operations related to the acquisition of material on work process, and the deliverables produced.
* Good oral and written communication skills regarding technical and production matters with both internal and external personnel.
* U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
* Knowledge of an Inventory Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
