We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our SAP Procure to Pay team. He or she will be responsible to drive the ownership and change management of all processes required to align the business processes within the Procure to Pay framework. The successful candidate will ensure not only that the SAP modules that are in scope are implemented without customization, but also systems are set up to monitor and control end-to-end processes within the workstream of accountability. The successful candidate will develop and execute strategies to ensure the system aligns with and supports the objectives and requirements of the Procurement function and the broader CONMED organization. Key Responsibilities Lead and direct the SAP Procure to Pay team to ensure program deliverables are met. Drive alignment on standard global Procure to Pay processes. Serve as a central facilitator in driving the definition of functional requirements for the Procure to Pay team. Lead the implementation of new, best practice Procure to Pay processes aligned with the new SAP Design. Ensure adoption of embedded system Procure to Pay processes to optimize value from SAP. Coordinate with business/process leaders allocated to the project as well as technical teams to ensure a smooth implementation and transition to SAP Procure to Pay. Drive required change and adoption of relevant best practices. Serve as a central facilitator in driving the definition of Procure to Pay functional requirements. Serve a primary liaison with the Procurement function to ensure successful implementation of SAP Key Leadership Competencies Open minded with experience driving transformational change Strategic Thinker: Ability to envision and plan long-term solutions Process Expertise: Strong business process aptitude; SME in Procure to Pay related processes Analytical Prowess: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Interpersonal Skills: Collaborative and influential Adaptable and resilient Strong leadership and team-building capabilities Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university is required At least 7 years of experience in Procurement system module implementation, and/or configuration. 5 years experience in SAP Procurement system module implementations and/or configuration Up to 50% travel Preferred Qualifications Master of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree in Computer Science More than 5 years in a Procure to Pay related discipline Experience with SAP Ariba or similar Procurement tool Deeper and broader experience with ERP (e.g. SAP) implementations Experience in SAP Procurement system module implementation, and/or configuration Experience in leading teams on large-scale SAP programs and managing cross-functional teams. Professional certification such as PMP is highly desirable. Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or life science industry strongly preferred Experience in leading teams on large-scale programs and managing cross-functional teams. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Experience in developing and implementing program governance frameworks and policies. Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is 162,000- 252,000 . The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
