Software Engineer (Apps)

Kratos has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer (Apps). In this position, you will be creating beautiful and functional front-end software using Angular but may need to work full stack. The ideal candidate will be a team player who will work closely with our UI and UX leads and must have the ability to follow established visual design to the pixel. You may be asked to lead teams and/or mentor less experienced software developers. This candidate must be self-motivated, self-learner, and able to excel within a dynamic daily schedule. Candidate must show the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with your direct team members and members of other teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience with numerous of the following development technologies:
• Angular 18
• Java
• JavaScript
• Use of PrimeNG components
• Integrating Highcharts
• HTML5, CSS, SCSS
• Front-end-to-back-end to back-end integration with Restful endpoints using API Gateways

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience writing automated UI tests using Cypress
• Webpack Module Federation
• Basic knowledge of satellite operations
• Microservices
• Figma
• Python scripting
• Kubernetes
• PostgreSQL
• GIT
• Bamboo
• Jira
• Confluence
• Agile Software Development
• Ability to obtain a US DOD Security Clearance - Secret

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education
$125,000 to $140,000 DOE
