*Job Title*: Network Project Coordinator
*Location*: Dallas, Texas, 75226 *Duration*: 9 months *Hourly Rate*: $30/hr *Workplace Type*: Hybrid *Drug Test Required*: Yes *Start Date*: April 6, 2025 *Possibility of Permanent Position*: Yes *Job Description:* The FIT Core Infrastructure Team (C.I. Team) is responsible for the design and implementation of the Structured Cabling System, which forms the foundation of the Network Infrastructure. The Structured Cabling System includes six components: Building Entrance Facility (DMARC/POP), Main Equipment Room (MER), Telecommunications Rooms (TR), Backbone Cabling, Horizontal Cabling, and Work Area. Responsibilities: * Project Documentation: Provide project start and close-out documentation, archive As-Built documents, hand-off documents to the Run Team, and support Accounts Payable with vendor and contractor reconciliation. * System Design and Specification: Design and specify Communications Equipment Rooms (MER & TR), including room quantity, sizing, location, layout, and environmental needs (power, lighting, cooling, security). Design and specify Communications Cabling (LAN/WAN, wired & wireless), Backbone & Horizontal Cables, Cable Pathways & Support. * Needs Assessment: Participate in structured cabling needs assessment, attend project design meetings, and IT-focused discussions with various stakeholders. * Requirements and Scope: Develop and provide structured cabling requirements, specifications, and scope to architects, engineers, general contractors, cabling contractors, and internal IS groups. * Project Budgets: Support the project budgeting process by providing scope, vendor quotes, equipment lists, and pricing for the structured cabling system. This includes early initial stage estimates, progressing to preliminary design estimates, and final contract document budgets. * Implementation: Coordinate, support, and oversee structured cabling system installation and documentation. Serve as the single point-of-contact for cabling moves, adds, and changes. Provide cabling-related support to various vendors utilizing the BSWH network. * Room UPS System: Design, budget, and implement Room UPS Systems within MERs & TRs to support network and telecom equipment. *Required Skills:* * Project coordination * Schedule meetings * Reporting * Support * Project scheduling *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * PM/project coordination * Estimating * Vendor management * Level of Effort (LOE) during demand phase * Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background screening. *Work Environment:* * Part of the FIT team *Business Challenge:* * Expansion *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
