Primary Responsibilities
*Manage Mass Eye and Ear's stewardship reporting program. Produce high quality reports that are tailored to the needs of each donor and aligned with the overall prospect strategy. Meet with gift officers regularly to discuss upcoming stewardship needs, track them in the fundraising database and ensure that deadlines are met. *Manage the department's gift acknowledgement program, writing high quality personalized acknowledgements for all gifts and pledges over $10,000 to be sent by the President, Department Chiefs, Board Chair and Faculty. Draft and periodically refresh templates for annual fund and event gifts. Ensure that each gift is acknowledged appropriately and promptly, and that the information is tracked in the fundraising database. *Partner with medical staff and major gifts team to conceptualize and write fundraising proposals for individuals and foundations for top funding initiatives and priorities. *Execute Mass Eye and Ear's endowed fund reporting program. Produce financial and narrative reports that are specific to each fund. *Assist with updating and maintaining donor recognition preferences in CRM. Ensure that listings are accurate, and the donor preferences are recorded. *Serve as a resource to Vice President/Chief Development Officer and major gift and annual fund teams, assisting with writing needs as they arise. *Write content for the blog, the Philanthropy Report, and the web as needed.
