Summary: This person provides administrative support to Trust Administration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities included but not limited to the following: * Process all incoming mail as appropriate. Prepare documentation for officer review. * Compose and type routine correspondence. * Organizes filing and coordinates with file clerk to keep filing current and accurate. * Answers and screens incoming telephone calls always maintaining a helpful pleasant attitude. Communicates with client regarding requests for funds and other administrative information. * Assists officer with the tax preparation process, including many follow up inquiries and the coordination of materials with the tax preparer, and payment of taxes. * Interacts with attorneys and other professional service providers as requested by officers. * Coordinates payment of invoices and other discretionary disbursement requests. * Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. They may include clearing audit exceptions, monitoring recurring disbursement schedules and sending requests for documentation to the client, administrative/asset/DRW reviews. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED). * Minimum of three years experience, preferably in a trust department or financial institution. Skills: * Effective communication and interpersonal skills * Effective organizational skills * Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. * Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization. * Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situation. * Computer skills to include Trust Accounting System Preferred, database software, e-mail, internet software, spreadsheets and word-processing
