**This is a Contract position with a possibility of going full time.**
Position Summary:
This Infrastructure Engineer position is located at our manufacturing facility in Danbury, CT and reporting to the Manager, Information Technology, responsible for supporting the network and server infrastructure of MannKind Corporation. The ideal candidate will be a multi-disciplined engineer that thrives in a dynamically changing and constantly growing environment, is a self-starter, and is able to work individually or as part of a team.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and integration of network hardware, including routers, firewalls, switches, VPN solutions, servers and data storage systems.
- Provide technical support for server hardware, operating systems, database, telephony systems, storage, and network devices.
- Serve as a problem escalation point for MannKind's Technical Support team.
- Participate in and provide technical guidance and support to project teams for business related projects.
- Provide M365 administration for Azure, Team, Sharepoint, etc.
- Support virtual environment include VMWare and Citrix devices and applications.
- Perform routine maintenance and administrative tasks on infrastructure network and server devices.
- Evaluate and recommend potential software packages, systems, and processes.
- Proactively monitor system and network performance.
- Support and maintain cloud storage and backup.
- Maintains document library for technical and how-to documentation.
- Provide detailed documentation of systems and environment.
- Perform special projects, as assigned by IT management.
- On-call rotation and occasional off-hours availability is required.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree with 3-5years related experience or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft M365 deployments and support, desktop services, and collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and other Microsoft services).
- Experience with Server and Desktop operating systems
- Knowledge of Cloud computing environments
- Knowledge of Information Security Systems best practices
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Server and Application software.
- Resourceful and innovative, willing to think "out of the box" when developing solutions.
- Networking experience desired, Cisco and Palo Alto experience a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and on multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay Range: $92,000 - $138,000 per year |
