Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Student Service Coordinator Sr. for year 3 and 4 students. This position will assist in various programs, processes and procedures to insure successful student academic progression throughout medical school. Additionally, under the direction of the Associate Dean for Curriculum, this person will be responsible for a variety of task related to student support as outlined below.

1. Visiting Student Learning Opportunities administrator: Assist in processing visiting student incoming applications. Assist department coordinators with vetting issues/process.
2. M3 and M4 Registration: Assist with preparation and planning for M3 one-wish survey, presenting the M3 registration tutorial and planning the M3/M4 student registration meeting.
3. M3 Testing Administration: Proctor M3 clerkship exams, assist in exam preparation for each Block and ensure proctors have resources for clerkship exams.
4. Provide monthly reports related to LCME compliance in areas associated with specific job responsibilities.
5. Serve as M4 enrollment back-up for M4 enrollment changes.
6. Process M3 and M4 grades and ensure successful grade transmission to MyZou.
7. Assist with M3 orientation, grading, and monitoring completion of assignments.
8. Facilitates conflict of Interest reporting process and tracking.
9. Crosstrain and provide coverage for the M1 M2 coordinator with tasks such as: uploading lectures/Powerpoints to Canvas, double checking schedules and room assignments, and working with faculty and student to facilitate schedule changes.
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Power Bi.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $17 - $26 hourly
Grade: GGS - 007
