Work Schedule:

Monday through Thursday with hours ranging from 8 am to 1 pm. Start date is May 12, 2025.

Job Summary:
|
This temporary position involves working with the program Coordinator, CE Director and other classroom aides in working with the children at this Summer Kids' College program. |
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
|
High school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience and 18 years or older.
|
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
|
Previous experience in a child care/camp setting or supervising children's activities or programs is preferred.
|
Essential Duties:
|
- Provide a safe environment for the participants of the program.
- Work directly with the children by directing and assisting children to classrooms/buildings, to and from activities each day and help supervising students.
- Be a positive role model or mentor for children and helping to ensure the rules are followed and students remain engaged in the activities.
- Assist ECC program staff in day to day activities that could include assisting parents with check in, paperwork or direct classroom support.
- Notify Instructors and/or ECC management staff of any problems that may arise.
- Be familiar with and follow the guidelines set forth in the staff manual, the ECC brochure and parent paperwork
- Observe ECC covid-19 cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
- Be able to work a Monday-Thursday schedule.
