ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Sr. Consultant, your mission is three-fold: to wow our clients through fantastic work, to build awesome teams and work culture, and to continue to differentiate our service offering in the marketplace. You demonstrate an insatiable desire to improve healthcare outcomes through strategic input and data analytics. You lead all aspects of project management, including planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of data driven projects that deliver measurable value to the client and result in client satisfaction with the work product and trust in the firm overall.

You work with a team to identify and leverage available data to gather insights, provide strategic direction, build innovative and efficient models, and deliver visually informative dashboards that support critical decision making and recommendations. Through your efforts, you further the analytics driven process to solve specific operational and strategic problems, which may include market assessments, growth forecasts, utilization studies, throughput assessments, visualization, and key planning unit (KPU) modeling. You are in the room working side by side with talented strategy, clinical, and operational client leaders from project initiation to final delivery.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead analytics driven healthcare consulting services including market assessments, service growth projections, utilization studies, service line planning, and operational studies


  • Create meaningful, long-term relationships with clients/users through excellence, integrity, and reliability


  • Provide dependable client leadership, lead and facilitate client presentations and work sessions


  • Develop and mentor teams who can effectively drive analytical solutions and engage in high value conversations with client leaders


  • Manage consulting teams, reviewing project performance, tracking project budget, and overseeing creation of deliverables


  • Produce project documentation, research briefs, meeting materials, analysis, graphics, best practice presentations, benchmark info and deliverables


  • Identify, contribute to, and develop improved approaches and tools for service line innovation


  • Promote thought leadership, present at national conferences, publish case studies/papers in journals, and develop an admirable network


  • Play a meaningful role in firm leadership by enabling professional development, mentoring, team leadership, and recruiting


  • Provide direction and leadership on pursuits and proposal development


  • Create work plans including project staffing, project approach, fee optimization, and resource requests

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Qualified candidates must have a Master's degree. Ideally in data science, analytics, mathematics, business administration, public health, heath administration, industrial engineering.


  • A minimum of 5 years of healthcare analytics experience is required with proven expertise in one or several of the following areas: healthcare financial planning and modeling, healthcare business or strategy planning and modeling, service line planning and modeling, healthcare operational planning and modeling, capital planning and modeling


  • Quantitative wizardry in the creation of complex analytical models using Excel and visualization tools is a must along with demonstrated ability to work in PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, and virtual collaboration tools


  • Must demonstrate creativity in approach, think critically about our approach and our work and demonstrate effective results


  • Must have the ability to work independently, be detail-oriented and to manage multiple projects effectively


  • Must exhibit executive gravitas, be able to inspire, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Must be comfortable with regular/extensive travel for client work and internal meetings


  • Experience in applying data science in healthcare projects is a plus


  • Strong portfolio and / or skillset in data driven storytelling is a plus

The salary range for this position is $95,200 to $119,000 annually. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances.
