This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist to support a Department of Defense (DoD) Air Force (AF) contract. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in creating project management visuals for DoD, federal agencies, or Fortune 400 organizations. This role demands expertise in program management and data visualization software, including JIRA, PowerBI, and Tableau, as well as the ability to build and manage dynamic dashboards. A deep understanding of NIST standards and Zero Trust frameworks is essential to ensure security and integrity in all data management and visualization activities.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality project management visuals tailored to DoD, federal agencies, or Fortune 400 organizations.
  • Utilize program management and data visualization tools (e.g., JIRA, PowerBI, Tableau) to create and manage interactive dashboards.
  • Provide analytics support for data-driven decision-making, ensuring the alignment of visuals with program requirements.
  • Work closely with program managers and stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights through effective visual presentations.
  • Support the continuous improvement of data management and visualization processes to enhance program efficiency and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of visualized data for operational success.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive data in accordance with TS/SCI clearance requirements, ensuring full compliance with NIST standards and Zero Trust principles.
  • Stay current on emerging data visualization tools, techniques, and cybersecurity frameworks, including advancements in Zero Trust security models, to improve project management efficiency.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including:
    • Creating project management visuals for DoD, federal agencies, or Fortune 400 organizations.
    • Extensive experience with program management and data visualization software, such as JIRA, PowerBI, or Tableau.
    • Building and managing interactive dashboards that support complex program management needs.
    • Applying knowledge of NIST standards and Zero Trust frameworks to secure and manage data in compliance with government regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of tools like JIRA, PowerBI, Tableau for building and managing dashboards.
  • Proven ability to support program management initiatives through data visualization and analytics.
  • Understanding of NIST cybersecurity standards and the Zero Trust security model to ensure secure handling and visualization of sensitive data.
  • Strong ability to ensure accuracy and clarity in data presentation.
  • Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop insights from complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
