We are excited to offer a 12-week remote paid Commercial Analytics Internship opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience within our Global Commercial Analytics Team. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced Commercial Analytics professionals to support data-driven decision-making processes and contribute to Fortrea's mission of advancing healthcare innovation.

Fortrea is seeking a Commercial Analytics Intern!

This role can be 100% or hybrid, 50% remote based and 50% if located near RTP, NC office.

Internship Assignment Summary:

  • Collaborate with the Global Commercial Analytics team to develop data visualization dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
  • Work on predictive modeling projects to forecast market opportunities and customer demand in key therapeutic areas.
  • Assist in the preparation and automation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of various commercial initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to understand business needs and align analytics projects accordingly.
  • Provide support in preparing presentations and reports for executive-level discussions on commercial strategy and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance existing analytics and reporting processes.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects related to market access, pricing strategies, and competitive intelligence.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

  • A rising sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate or graduate candidate pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical or data analysis software (e.g., Python, R, or SQL) is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • A proactive and independent mindset, with strong attention to detail.
