About the HR team:

NETSCOUT is looking for an HR Intern to provide administrative support to the HR team. In this role you will support HR operations and assist in coordinating HR processes and relevant documentation. You will assist with the development, execution, and coordination of internal programs and initiatives. This internship will allow you the opportunity to rotate through a variety of HR job functions, shadowing and learning from a variety of HR professionals. The individual should be self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn about HR in a fast-paced IT company. An ideal candidate is one who is ready to take up new challenges and thinks out of the box when it comes to role and responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is not only focused on routine work in HR but also interested in taking ownership and embracing the innovative parts of HR.

How you will contribute:



  • Ensure timely and smooth documentation, including but not limited to updating spreadsheets of employee information, severance paperwork, exit interview processing, record keeping and other generalist duties


    • Will be privy to highly confidential and sensitive information. Confidentiality and trust is a must.


  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources leaders and HRBPs, to include processing employee changes as needed,
  • Assist with supporting the Calibration business to include ensuring staffing vendors adhere to NETSCOUT's pre-boarding and training policies, processing and tracking per diems for field employees, reviewing dynamic field records to ensure policy compliance, tracking 60-day performance reviews, and other similar responsibilities.
  • Learn about NETSCOUT HR policies to be able to respond to staff inquiries
  • Assist in the research, coordination, and deployment of employee training


    • Identify training needs for Calibration employees and contractors
    • Identify relevant content to build our global learning and development library of resources for employees


  • Serve as support to employee development projects, inform management of progress and provide solutions for continued success.
  • Able to handle challenging situations and confidential, sensitive information
  • Attend department and company-wide meetings
  • May be accountable for other results and activities as assigned
  • Will be mentored and coached by senior HRBP's


Responsibilities are subject to change based on NetScout's business requirements and the candidate's interests. Candidates are encouraged to indicate specific areas of interest when applying and throughout the internship.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High standards of professional integrity.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects at once while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Self-Disciplined and Self-Motivated
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite a plus.
  • Strong social media skills a plus.


An ideal candidate for the HR intern position is pursuing an academic degree in HR, Business or relevant fields. Familiarity with IT/Technology industry is also a plus.
