$6,000 Retention Bonus!!

The candidate selected for this position may be eligible for a retention bonus of up to $6,000. An initial sum of $2,500 will be paid after the completion of six months in this role, with the balance disbursed after twelve months of service. To qualify for the full bonus, the individual must maintain employment in this position for at least twelve months. The bonus is non-transferable to other roles.

Salary Range

Full Licensed Base Salary: $72,192.81 - $83,591.68/annually

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Canvas Health's mental health and substance use disorder providers, clinicians, and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. We strive for excellence in clinical care as we serve those living with mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing, and trauma. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.

Position Summary

Responsible for working with various officers to ensure community response to individuals with or without potential mental health concerns. Riding with an officer and responding to calls of persons in crisis to assist with de-escalation and connection with services. Conducting follow up visits on individuals identified as likely to benefit from access to services and connecting them to services. Seeking out homeless individuals in the response area to connect them with resources and services.

Columbia Heights, MN

Schedule

Monday through Friday, generally 10am-10pm with some flexibility based on department/staff need

Minimum Qualifications



  • Master's degree or higher in social work, family therapy, or psychology
  • MN licensed mental health professional (e.g., LPCC, LP, LICSW, LPCC, LMFT) with emphasis on clinical practice and eligibility to become a credentialed provider with insurance entities
  • Five (5) or more years' experience working with a variety of clients in an outreach, clinical, or case management role



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience working with law enforcement.
  • Familiarity with substance abuse illnesses and homelessness
  • Knowledge of the Anoka County mental health resources (crises, hospitals, group homes), as well as experience with case management.
  • Bilingual/Spanish Speaking
