JOB SUMMARY:MCSG is seeking an Operations Specialist to support the 392d Combat Training Squadron (392 CTS) at Schriever SFB, CO. The 392 CTS provides technical knowledge and skill in using specialized modeling and simulation (M&S) applications (e.g., GPS Environment Generator (GEG), Missile Defense Space-Warning Tool (MDST), Automated Scriptor Simulator Exercise Trainer (ASSET), Processing Display System-Migration (PDS-M), TRS-Dashboard, etc.) to provide external customers with space, electronic intelligence (ELINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), communications intelligence (COMINT), and overhead persistent infrared (OPIR) indications in live, virtual, and constructive environments. The Operations Specialist serves as the 392 CTS M&S expert in these functional areas during the planning and execution of exercises, demonstrations, and warfighter training events. Location: This position is on-site at Schriever SFB, CO.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Plan, coordinate, integrate, and execute 392 CTS M&S capabilities in support of exercises, demonstrations, and warfighter training events.
• Translate operational-level training requirements into recommended M&S technical approaches.
• Identify shortfalls in 392 CTS M&S tools and assist in defining requirements for new capabilities.
• Review technical documentation and support demonstrations, tests, and/or special event assessments involving new Space M&S and simulator systems used by the 392 CTS.
• Provide support to set up, integrate, test, operate, and troubleshoot 392 CTS M&S equipment and infrastructure supporting exercises, demonstrations, and warfighter training events.
• Support 392 CTS's System Implementation Process (SIP) to facilitate the transition of M&S requirements into technical solutions.
• Capture, analyze, and report on observations and lessons learned throughout exercise design, planning, and execution.
• Facilitate hot wash debriefs and support After Action Report (AAR) development.
• Report on activities through trip reports, briefings, meeting minutes, point papers, quad charts, etc., within established deadlines.
• Perform tasks assigned by contract leadership to ensure mission success for the 392 CTS.

REQUIREMENTS: *

• 10years of space experience.
• Operational experience using or providing missile warning, ELINT, SIGINT, or COMINT capabilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours in support of international mission support.
• Worldwide travel may be required (approximate travel: up to 30 days/year).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience using or operating missile warning, air, space, intelligence, etc. M&S tools.
• Experience using open-source or classified systems to research military capabilities.
• Familiar with Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) and High-Level Architecture (HLA).
• Familiar with air and/or space Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) capabilities.
  
  

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 10years of space experience.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelors degree from an accredited academic institution.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret/SCI clearance
