Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role
  • Manage SCM and GDLS IT personnel responsible for managing and supporting functional, enterprise, and corporate IT systems and processes utilized by SCM personnel and the GDLS supply base (aka Team Center, Oracle eBusiness, APEX, Outlook, COGNOS, ...).
  • Responsible for daily employee operational oversight and development.
  • Manage/support application implementations/upgrades, and software patch testing related to issue resolution
  • Supporting application development and testing related to new business/existing process implementations and continuous improvement initiatives across the global SCM organization
  • Investigate and implement where applicable new technologies to extend application functionality and /or increase process/labor efficiencies. (i.e., use of automation tools and applications)
  • Support all system and process initiatives to further the implementation of a GDLS global organization that enables leveraging of resources and tools across the organization.
  • Support application and process training for SCM personnel.
  • Manage SCM data content within the GDLS and SCM portals and websites as well as internal date file structures.
  • Manage and support applicable access controls related to compliance requirements for application file structures and data.
  • Manage systems support for cybersecurity and Supply Chain Risk Management indicatives.
  • Develop and manage SCM and global metrics and reporting including the use of new technologies (dashboards).
  • Manage supplier onboarding and ongoing data management.
  • Manage and support SCM desktop operations. (requests, maintenance, issue resolution)
  • Manage and support large scale data management activities and special requests.

Qualifications Sought
  • Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain Management or related business field)
  • Experience leading and managing formal and informal teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Experience working with IT systems and applications (Oracle, Apex, Cognos,...)
  • Working knowledge of ERP functionality
  • Experience managing project plans, meeting deadlines and delegating assignments.
  • Strong organizational, time management, planning and follow-through capabilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with all levels of management.
  • Ability to present to all levels of management and senior leadership.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skill (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to travel as required. (Minimal travel)
  • Prospective employees must be able to certify U.S. Person status.
