As a Warehouse Operator for World Kinect, you will be responsible for all duties pertaining to the receiving, organizing, warehousing and prepping for delivery a variety of packaged and bulk lubricant and fuel products for delivery to our customers. This is a safety critical role, requiring special attention is given to the integrity of all PDC material handling and storage equipment, i.e. pallet jacks, fork lifts, totes, etc. Communication and teamwork are essential to the success of the operation in support of related departments, including customer service, dispatch, supply/procurement and our delivery (driver) staff.

Pay: $20-$25 DOE

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound stock deliveries, accurately documenting all materials received and not received in a timely regard.
  • Perform a physical month end inventory of all packed and bulk lubrication and/or fuel products and assist the warehouse supervisor and PDC manager with inventory reconciliation and inventory control procedures. Additional inventories may be required to ensure there is sufficient product to meet customer demand.
  • Facility organization and cleanliness is required at all times. Clean-up and mitigate minor drips.
  • Report all spills to the warehouse supervisor or PDC manager and assist with spill clean-up as required.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner based on inventory turnover and product or storage specific requirements.
  • Determine best storage methods and stock location based on inventory turnover and product type.
  • Delivery trucks must be loaded in an organized manner for ease of delivery in accordance with dispatch and route requirements.
  • All delivery trucks loads must be inventoried and reviewed with the driver for accuracy. If the product loaded on the truck does not match the bill of lading, the error must be corrected before departure.
  • All loads must be signed off by the driver as correct and accurate.
  • Assist with facility and yard inspections and minor maintenance projects and tasks.
  • Maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in good order to ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Examine and inspect inventory storage vessels (totes, tanks, barrels, etc...) for wear, defects or damage. Report all concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor or PDC Manager.
  • Drive company vehicles (non-CDL) for product pick-up or delivery only with management approval, appropriate licensure and vehicle specific training. Product must be securely stowed with all appropriate product documentation.
  • Maintain warehouse and terminal areas to keep compliance with safety regulations and proper work environment.
  • Adhere to Company Safety Policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Certain facilities may require rail car or transport truck offloads. Team members performing these functions must be fully trained as signed off as qualified before conducting these specific Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Special Note: warehouse work is physical work, requiring lifting package good, moving and maneuvering barrels and other material handing functions. Warehouse staff are expected to work both inside and outside the facility. The temperature in certain facilities can be extreme, requiring acclimation, attention to head exhaustion and additionally personal hydration requirements. Working from heights may be required at certain facilities with specific fall prevision personal protective equipment. World Kinect Corporation conducts drug testing procedures for non-DOT safety critical roles.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Forklift Certification preferred.

Work Experience Required

  • Materials Handling/Warehouse experience preferred
  • Lubricant experience desired
