We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Manager of Accounting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing General Ledger (GL) accounting, leading key accounting projects, and managing accounting systems, including NetSuite. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience leveraging NetSuite to streamline accounting processes and support financial reporting. This position requires someone who is highly organized, can manage multiple priorities, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the General Ledger monthly close process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial results.
  • Communicate with other functional areas regarding month-end close timing and results.
  • Review trend analysis, and assist in investigating and resolving accounting questions and issues as they arise.
  • Drive system upgrades, integrations, changes, and automation initiatives to support the broader accounting team and to streamline accounting processes for efficiency.
  • Contribute to the external audit process by assisting with external audit questions, and collating and preparing supporting documentation for interim reviews and year end audits.
  • Develop and implement new accounting policies and procedures.
  • Lead a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and career development.
  • Own control activities within GL, maintaining a strong set of SOX-compliant internal controls.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the accounting team and with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks and special projects as assigned, which may include acquisition accounting and assistance with revenue processing during high volume periods.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA
  • 7+ years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a management role.
  • Past experience and strong expertise in NetSuite required, with demonstrated ability to automate accounting functions and processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale accounting projects, including system integrations and process improvements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on developing talent and fostering a positive work culture.


Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000

In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
