*Responsibilities include:*
* Installing add-on devices to existing customer security systems. * Addressing service tickets for customers with prior security alarm experience. *Training Schedule:* * Week 1: Complete LMS training classes on-site at a branch office. * Week 2: Field training week, observing a senior technician. * Week 3: Hands-on equipment training, performing installations under senior technician supervision. * Weeks 4-5: Continued training until the new hire can work independently. *Day-to-Day Duties:* * Install and program burglar alarms, CCTV (IP & Analog), DVRs, and access control systems for residential customers. * Install window breaks, door units, and smoke detectors. * Troubleshoot signal issues to ensure proper alarm function. * Interact with customers on-site, providing hands-on support and customer care. * Test and verify equipment signals. * Train customers on equipment use, connectivity, and address any additional needs. * Complete necessary customer paperwork for each job. * Account for all parts used before closing out jobs with the dispatch center. * Maintain accurate truck inventory of products. * Provide top-quality customer service. *Skills:* * Customer service skills * Installation of Cat6, wiring, low voltage, cable, telecom, construction, mounting, alarms, cabling, cable pulling, Cat5, electrical, electronics, security, alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and alarm installation. *Tools Needed:* * 6-foot ladder (Little Giant foldable ladder if driving a sedan) * Screwdrivers (preferably an electric drill) * Wire cutters * Hand sheetrock saw *PPE Kit:* * Personal Protective Equipment provided by TEKsystems. *Uniform:* * Uniform polo shirts provided by TEKsystems. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
