Job Description (Dispatcher) * The Dispatcher talks to the truck drivers and sends locations and addresses, gets updates, ETA's and answers any potential questions. * Daily management of a schedule. * Driver management and carrier relations. * Customer relations and order taking. * Detection and deployment of new suppliers. * 60 - 80 calls per day. Desired Skills & Qualifications * Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but NOT required. * Previous dispatching experience (2+ years). * Background in shipping, logistics, or trucking. * B2B operations support. Work Environment * Required to work on-site/in-office. * Schedule will be M-F 8:30-5pm with a 30-minute lunch. * Five week training schedule is 6:30-3:00pm with a 30-minute lunch. * Cubicle environment and will be using dual monitors. There are a team of 15 made up of dispatchers, CSRS, and then a few specialist roles. * Concrete manufacturing company that has locations all over the Bay Area.
