Position Summary

PG&E is seeking a highly motivated Intern for the Voice of Customer team! The role involves a unique combination of data analytics, trend analysis, and qualitative insights. Under the direction of senior team members, the intern will help design and manage projects related to customer feedback processes; perform analyses and make recommendations on ways to improve PG&E customer experiences; and support the development of presentations to leadership.

The successful candidate will be joining an exciting, successful team that makes data-driven decisions while remaining curious and nimble.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with designing customer feedback surveys to administer; collect survey responses and produce takeaways from the feedback.
  • Visualize customer journeys and make recommendations for customer experience improvements.
  • Manage internal communications and SharePoint content for PG&E coworkers.
  • Assist with customer research needs for the Voice of Customer team.

PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $19.91 to $26.02

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, or other related discipline.
  • Students must be continuing their education towards their degree during and/or after the internship.

Desired:

  • Demonstrated interest in the energy sector through coursework, research, or job experience.
  • Good interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic prioritization and project management skills to effectively manage multiple assignments or a project with demanding time constraints.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic quantitative and analytical skills to analyze and interpret data and effectively communicate findings.
  • Basic knowledge of customer research and insights practices.
