The Role:

As the Marketing Intern reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager you will gain direct exposure to the exciting world of Luxury Beauty. You will manage projects supporting the Prestige Retail and Ecommerce team with partners like Amazon and Sephora, working across Kao's Salon Brands including Oribe, Kerasilk, KMS, and Goldwell. During this internship, you will develop an understanding of omni-channel marketing strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:



  • Audit product pages across top partners, update content & identify areas of opportunity
  • Complete a competitive brand analysis
  • Assist in organizing and tracking marketing coverage
  • Assist with new product launch process
  • Assist with marketing reports including measuring KPIs against benchmarks
  • Write creative briefs for various marketing creatives
  • Support and execute Amazon marketing strategies
  • Attend meetings with relevant cross-functional partners
  • Ad hoc responsibilities such as assisting with reporting, managing asset catalogs and digital file management
  • Option to lead a research project on a topic of your choosing



Our Ideal Candidate:



  • Undergrad student graduating 2026, studying Marketing or a related field
  • Marketing internship experience
  • Demonstrated passion for the beauty industry
  • Strong creative and critical thinking skills
  • Enjoy analyzing data and making strategic recommendations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management skills
  • Proactive and a resourceful problem solver
  • Must be available to work 40 hours per week
  • Internship timeframe: June - September with potential opportunity to extend based on performance


Reasonable pay range is $18-$19/hr.
