Job Title: Assembly Line Supervisor

Department: Operations

Reports to: Manager, Assembly Line

Direct Reports: Assembly Line Technicians

Location(s): Philadelphia

Summary of Position:

Manages for all assembly line activities at the Philadelphia site including the delivery of both the 119 Koala and AW139 aircraft.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Manages assembly line activities including

meeting quality, cost, schedule, and safety requirements as set forth in the operational plan.

2.Develops internal schedules for the assembly line in coordination with support functions.

3.Sets daily, weekly, and monthly goals for the assembly line teams.

4.Coordinates all assembly line activities and aircraft availability.

5.Coordinates with production supervision, flight line supervision, and quality control personnel on the transfer of aircraft from production to the flight line.

6.Assures personnel receive required training and maintain the training records for

their employees.

7.Ensures that all tooling is made available for required jobs.

8.Develops assembly line teams and ensures team leaders are identified for the assembly line.

9.Identifies and requests daily parts requisition to meet mission requirements.

10.Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

11.Develop and manage work team schedule as required to meet production requirements.

Qualifications for Position:

Education: HS diploma or equivalent; BS desirable

Experience:

  • Five (5) years of assembly line experience
  • One to three (1-3) years in a leadership role

Competencies & Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of aviation technology
  • Ability to teach and develop technical abilities in employees as well as lead people effectively by guiding and coaching others to improve skills and achieve goals.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong pc skills.
  • Intercultural awareness, ability to create and maintain relationships
