Job Title: Network Security Engineer Company: TEKsystems Hybrid Role - Looking at an 60% Remote / 40% On-Site split. On-Site when needed for hands-on install/configuration/deployment, then 100% remote the rest of the time. Location: NJ - they have 16 main locations, and various other smaller locations - must be willing to travel to any location in NJ (milage for travel will be reimbursed) Long-Term Rolling Contract that renews every 12 Months (Opportunity for Full Time Employment) Rate: $60-90 hourly W2 (C2C Not Allowed) Required Top Skills * Cisco Switches (Nexus 9300/9500 & Catalyst 9200/9300) * Switch Installs and Builds * Experience with Firewalls. Specifically, need an expert with Fortigate including Fortimanager. * Configure and deploy new firewall installations, both standalone and HA clusters, to support ongoing project needs. Description Cisco switches(Nexus 9300/9500 & Catalyst 9200/9300 Switch Installs and Builds Troubleshooting 1.Knowledge and experience managing the following firewall platforms, Fortigate including Fortimanager. 2.Configure and deploy new firewall installations, both standalone and HA clusters, to support ongoing project needs. 3.Managing firewall policies as approved by the Cybersecurity team and following up when discrepancies arise. 4.Troubleshooting reported issues and concerns via the CLI's of the Firewall platforms when required. 5.Opening tickets and working with the firewall vendors to resolve issues when necessary. 6.Firewall software and patch management. 7.Serve as a subject matter expert in coordinating and troubleshooting with customers, other infrastructure support activities and business units as required. 8.Develop network documentation of security infrastructure. 9.Building and supporting site-to-site VPN tunnels on the listed platforms. 10.Researching and scheduling VPN tunnel migrations from Fortigate in cooperation with 3rd party vendors and the end user community involved. 11.Must have experience with Fortinet SD-WAN Top Skills Cisco switches (Nexus 9300/9500 & Catalyst 9200/9300), fortinet, fortigate, Fortimanager, SDWAN, Firewall, Security Additional Skills & Qualifications Must be willing to jump in and provide level III support Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
