We are seeking a creative and innovative Learning Experience Designer to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for crafting engaging and effective educational experiences that cater to our Legal customer base and diverse learning needs. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, educators and technology teams to develop cutting-edge learning solutions. Your expertise in instructional design, combined with your passion for leveraging technology to enhance learning, will be essential in driving our educational initiatives forward.

About the Role

In the role of Learning Experience Designer, you will:

  • Partner with cross-functional team of subject matter experts across Training/Professional Services, Marketing, and Product Management as appropriate to develop and maintain on-demand training materials for Thomson Reuters Legal products.

  • Drive creation and maintenance of world-class, eLearning experiences for a portfolio of SaaS software products to drive customer usage and adoption in their daily workflow

  • Manage projects from start to finish in collaboration with various internal teams and any necessary external vendors

  • Work directly with subject matter experts to design and develop content including video scripts, user guides, and additional eLearning course material

  • Utilize platform authoring tools and training best practices to create highly effective, engaging learning experiences

  • Stay current and provide thought leadership on innovation in eLearning and customer education

  • Continuously build knowledge of the Legal products and customers to ensure training content being delivered is up to date and providing value to our customers

  • Maintain learning content within LMS and other technology systems

  • Measure and analyze content effectiveness and update content as necessary

About You

You are a fit for the role of Learning Experience Designer if your background includes:

  • BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Technical Communications, Computer Science, Business, Human Resources, or equivalent experience

  • Expert with learning technology such as Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate, WellSaid, HTML, and other website management tools

  • Knowledge and working experience with learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint

  • Ability and passion for creating modern, visually appealing content for today's learners that is easy to consume

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, specifically writing and designing instructional content

  • Video creation and editing experience

  • Creative thinker, open to change, and learns quickly when facing new problems

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proven project management and organization skills

  • Reviewable portfolio of work preferred

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $72,100 - $133,900.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
