RECLAIM OPERATOR C

TITLE: Reclaim Operator C

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To produce a consistent quality product utilizing procedures and process related troubleshooting while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Computing knowledge
• Oral /written communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strive to achieve departmental production and quality objectives
• Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements
• Demonstrate safe work habits, ensuring equipment is in safe working condition, reporting unsafe acts / conditions to Shift Supervisor, follows Lock Out / Tag Out as necessary
• Follow quality procedures; identifying and correcting quality defects with assistance
• Identify and ensure segregation of products with assistance
• Operate reclaim equipment (paperwork, inspection, etc.
• Feed scrap into grinder and shredder.
• Conduct efficient and effective shift change
• Certified forklift operator
• Comply with company recycling policy
• Comply with company housekeeping policies; maintaining housekeeping checklists throughout each shift

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
• Loud noise
