Electrical Engineering Co-Op - Fall 2025
Job Description: The Role: Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the engineering manager and the engineering team, fostering a dynamic and engaging work environment. What You'll Do: * Collaborate with the engineering team to align departmental drafting standards. * Analyze current product structures across recent development projects and assess a new modular approach to our designs. * Ensure models, drawings, and bill of materials (BOM) structures are consistent with recent initiatives. * Utilize SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical, and DraftSight for various tasks. * Evaluate proper engineering change implementations to learn the functional processes of an engineering department.
What We Seek: * Minimum of 2 years towards a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering. * No prior experience required. * Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively in team settings, including collaborating with peers, mentors, and university partners, to leverage collective expertise for project success. * Adaptability: Flexibility to navigate the dynamic nature of technological development projects, including the willingness to learn and apply new methods or technologies as they emerge.
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: * Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering * Graduating in December 2025 or later
Eligibility: * Must be a currently enrolled student * Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in July through December * Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program * Entegris does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
