Qualifications: Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) and 4-6 years work experience or equivalent experience. Proven experience as an IT professional. Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred. Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required. Proficiency with database applications, knowledge of mainframe, distributed and/or web programming language. Basic leadership skills preferred. Excellent time management skills preferred. Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Must have the desire and ability to learn new technology and continuously grow. Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both IT and non-IT partners. Some travel may be required, including overnight stays. May be required to provide on-call support. * As an Infrastructure Engineer on the Linux server team, you'll provide strategic support and execution of organizational initiatives across our global landscape. In addition, you will collaborate with internal clients, peers, and leadership to support the modernization of our hybrid hosting strategy. * Day-to-day work includes a balance of project and service delivery/operations work. * Project work includes building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure Linux server hosting solutions. This includes Linux systems administration, automation, and scripting in in a hybrid on-prem/cloud environment. * Operations work, including working support requests for internal customers. * Duties include participating in an on-call rotation 5 days per week. * Collaborate with team members and other teams. * Create and update process documentation. a. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices (CIS, NIST, etc.). *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
