Key Responsibilities:



  • Work with employees on the production floor to update and improve procedures or processes.
  • Conducting time and motion studies to identify and propose areas for process improvement.
  • Assisting in the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement projects.
  • Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations

Essential Responsibilities of the Position (includes the following: other responsibilities may be assigned):

Job Description:

Qualifications:



  • Currently pursuing/enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing degree (Bachelors or Masters) within engineering, computer science/data analytics, operations management, or related fields.


Technical Requirement:



  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Minitab, or similar software.


Preferred Experience:



  • Previous internship or project experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Experience with process improvement projects, including time and motion studies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eligible to work 40 hours a week during your CO-OP semesters

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong reading, writing, and math abilities.
  • Mechanical Skills Experience
  • Electrical Skill Set
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week


Additional based on Role:



  • One pair of company-issued steel-toe shoes, and safety glasses; annually.
