Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Level 1:

  • Estimated annual base pay: $68,080.00 (minimum) - $80,100.00 (midpoint) - $96,120.00 (maximum)

Level 2:

  • Estimated annual base pay: $75,440.00 (minimum) - $94,300.00 (midpoint) - $113,160.00 (maximum)
  • All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Operations Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Operations Engineer reports to Technical Leadership and provides engineering expertise to solve difficult problems and continuously improve our Assembly and Test operations. Supports Production and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations from a technical standpoint.

What You Will Be Doing

Level 1:

  • Supports Assembly & Test operations for any process related questions
  • Supports new capital equipment purchases and implementation
  • Supports cell layouts and process improvement initiatives
  • Uses general understanding of lean tools to improve processes
  • Supports new product introduction and repair readiness assessments
  • Learns the steps involved to incorporate process improvements
  • Creates and maintains process documentation and updates work order documentation
  • Supports implementation of basic engineering changes
  • Supports Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plans

Level 2:

  • Supports Assembly & Test operations for any process related questions and develops/trains other members in the operations processes
  • Supports new capital equipment purchases and implementation with justification documentation
  • Creates cell layouts and process improvement initiatives
  • Uses basic lean tools to improve processes
  • Supports new product introduction and repair readiness assessments
  • Participates in process improvements on a project level
  • Creates, maintains and develops new process documentation and updates work order documentation
  • Implements complex engineering changes
  • Initiates and supports Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plans

What We Are Looking For

Level 1:

  • US - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences required
  • Effective written/verbal communication skills, basic presentation skills
  • General Six Sigma knowledge; Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts

Level 2:

  • US - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences required
  • Greater than 2 years professional engineering experience or a combination of experience and advanced degree
  • Effective written/verbal communication skills, basic presentation skills
  • General Six Sigma knowledge; Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts
