Job Description

Position Summary:

The Unity Construct System Administrator will serve as the primary contact for MU Campus Unity Connect users. This role is responsible for system configuration, modification of data fields and templates, providing support and training to both internal and external users, and addressing user needs in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, the Administrator will collaborate with system-level Unity Construct teams, campus PeopleSoft programmers, and vendor-contracted staff to ensure smooth operation and integration of the Unity Construct system. The role includes report development, data extraction, and adherence to MU and System policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Unity Construct System Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage projects within Unity Construct.
  • Maintain and update templates (documents, budgets, schedules, mail merges, etc.).
  • Implement MU-specific configuration changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with fiscal staff and programmers to maintain the PeopleSoft/Unity Construct interface.
  • Provide technical support to users.
  • Review monthly and quarterly product release notes to stay updated on new functionalities.
  • Ensure system practices align with MU and System policies.

Training and Documentation:

  • Develop, update, and maintain training manuals specific to MU processes.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for internal and external new users.
  • Provide ongoing refresher training and one-on-one training as needed.
  • Educate users on new product functionalities and system enhancements.

Reporting and Data Management:

  • Understand MU's and the industry's specific reporting and data requirements.
  • Develop recurring and ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Maintain ongoing reports and ensure timely delivery to MU and System leadership.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from internal users, co-workers, and external users.
  • Collaborate regularly with System Unity Construct Administrators and users to maintain consistent practices.
  • Build relationships with other power users at MU, System, and other universities to share best practices and gather system improvement insights.

Other Duties:

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

7:30 a.m. - 4:00
Monday thru Friday

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer administrative experience with Unity Construct (e-Builder) and/or PeopleSoft accounting experience
  • Must possess and maintain a valid State of Missouri driver's license or a valid out-of-state driver's license with the understanding a Missouri driver's license must be obtained within the first six months of employment.
Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $74,000 - $83,304 annually

Grade: GGS-011
