Description
Responsible for coordinating all administrative activities related to the daily day to day HR staff activities. Duties include developing recruitment strategies, application screening, interviewing and wage and salary surveys and administration. Oversees implementing systems for managing employee benefits, payroll, and employee onboarding. Responsible for setting the department tone as an employee focused servant leadership support operation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
- Responsible to establish and maintain an experienced team of HR professionals to perform the daily HR department duties.
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Ensure that job descriptions are in a standardized format and are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
- Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution in compliance with national and local HR regulations.
- Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Uses performance management tools to provide guidance and feed back to HR team and company leadership as needed.
- Ensures all company HR policies are applied consistently.
- Maintains company organizational charts and employee directory.
- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
- Maintain HR systems and processes.
- Conduct and performs wage and salary reviews on a routine basis to ensure competitive and fairly compensated.
- Provide support and guidance to the HR staff.
- Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investing allegations of wrongdoing and terminations.
- Champion the onboarding process by ensuring that it's high-quality and up to date and provide clarity and connection for employees so their roles serve the overall business vision.
- Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expense reimbursement and vacation.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
- Serve as the employee advocate in all decisions.
- Works in conjunction with King Kulture Curator to foster an employee focused servant leadership and preserve Cornerstone Principles and Mission.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Required to be knowledgeable in a broad range of human resource strategies and practices to include compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations and able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations. Should be experienced in creating a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork. Needs to be experienced in analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business, or related areas; relevant work experience may be a substitute with a minimum of 5 years of human resources related work experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, and talk or hear, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. NOTE THIS IS AN ONSITE MONDAY - FRIDAY POSITION. EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
