DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a member of the management team at SCI Camp Hill, you will play a crucial role in the financial and administrative operations of the organization. Some of your responsibilities will include overseeing a team of professional, technical, and clerical staff; creating and managing operating budgets; evaluating policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with operational procedures; and developing contractual agreements. You will also have direct supervision over the sections involved in fiscal planning and control, procurement, and fixed assets, as well as the Inmate General Welfare Fund and storeroom. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, budget administration, and proficiency in data analysis and financial reporting. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Corrections Institutional Assistant Business Manager (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of professional budgeting, accounting, and purchasing experience that includes one year of supervisory experience, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of professional experience in budgeting, accounting, and purchasing and one year of professional supervisory experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
