Job Description The Digital Modernization Sector has a career opportunity for a ServiceNow Infrastructure resource supporting the Global Solutions Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at DISA. This contract includes the Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). It also includes support to other key tasks for DISA, including the transformation of DISA's operational mission through innovation, and support to DISA's mission partners. Candidate must be able to be on site at Fort Meade, Scott AFB, or Hill AFB daily. At a minimum, a Secret clearance is required upon the start of employment and within 14 days following the start date the employee must obtain their Security + certification. The ServiceNow Systems Administrator will manage servers, networks, storage systems, and containers while monitoring system performance and performing routine updates, patches and security configurations. The candidate filling this role will also configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, implement access controls, and ensure compliance with security policies. Primary Responsibilities *Establish environments by standing up various containers for the ServiceNow team to execute their work *Prepare and create containers to allow microservices to work cohesively in a cloud-native application *Assist in the development of the continuous integration and continuous delivery of software *Support the standup, configuration and implementation of ServiceNow's ITSM, OMT, TSM, and TSOM modules *Assist in the design, creation, and maintenance of the ServiceNow application and modules *Architect and design tool integrations with ServiceNow (Elastic, Netcool, Kafka, etc) *Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades *Resolve identified vulnerabilities associated with STIGs and Scans *Assist with design, creation of business process flows *Work with other members of the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies *Perform the necessary tasks to design and assist in configuring ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs *Support business process re-engineering activities to identify ways to streamline capabilities into ServiceNow *Identify trends and find patterns in unstructured and semi-structured customer data that can be used to create a more positive customer experience and increase overall network performance *Interact with the customer to address Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts *Ensure the infrastructure is properly setup with the right nodes, storage, and security parameters to host ServiceNow Basic Qualifications *Bachelor's Degree with 8 - 12 years of relevant experience or master's with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of work experience in lieu of degree is acceptable. *Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance *Hold and active security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher, such as Security+ within 14 days of hire *Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified *Experience in architecture, design, development, and delivery of data driven operations capabilities, within a DoD environment, including experience building and deploying software applications that meet DoD security standards and updating applications and code to meet security scans and security implementation guidelines (e.g. STIGs). *5+ years of hands-on experience standing up, configuring, and/or maintaining environments *Experience with JIRA, Git and Confluence *Experience working with a highly technical team and in a dynamic, fast-paced environment *Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, Ogden, UT for primary on-site support as required. Preferred Qualifications *Experience with the ServiceNow application *Experience or familiarity with agile development *Exposure to ServiceNow applications like Telecommunication Management System (TSM), Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI), Order Management Telecommunications (OMT) modules, etc. *Experience with JIRA and Confluence. *Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified. *Bachelor's / Master's degree in a technical field such as System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline *Experience working with large software systems including hardware integration and test. *Experience working with multi-disciplinary technical development teams. *Experience moving from a legacy application to a new application. *Skills* Servicenow, Itsm, Cmdb, Development, Javascript, Scripting, Change management *Top Skills Details* Servicenow,Itsm,Cmdb,Development,Javascript,Scripting,Change management *Additional Skills & Qualifications* This candidate needs to have a high level of professionalism as they will be working on an Active Military Base *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
