PURPOSE Supports Fleet Product Directors in ensuring cost, availability, innovation, growth and quality according to target setting and category requirements per given market. Supports the execution of advanced strategies to ensure that cost, growth and quality targets are met on entire spend categories. This position typically works under supervision and direction from senior category analyst as well as category managers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supports fleet strategy by researching internal and external data and applying current market dynamics/intelligence. Collaborates with leadership, field management, and internal support functions to ensure alignment across the organization, and supports activities based on market changes. Solves both conceptual and analytical problems by developing and recommended solutions to issues. Works closely with fleet leaders in optimizing strategies and business needs by collaborating with business units/functional areas. Works closely with fleet leaders in developing specific strategic goals and KPIs. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree, in business administration, supply chain, or related field. 3 years' experience in analytics. MBA preferred COMPETENCIES Demonstrated leadership ability. Strong written and oral communication skills for interface with all levels of management, both internally and externally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical skills to interpret data, metrics, and analyze trends.
