Senior Network Engineer (remote within WI footprint)

Key Responsibilities

• Administration of network technologies including firewalls, network access control, switching, routing, wireless, SD-WAN, load-balancing, data centers, cabling, and network hardware.
• Provide consultative technical guidance to customers as it relates to scoping, design, installation and configuration of assigned technologies.
• Oversee day to day operation of technical environments which includes change, release, performance and availability management.
• Interfaces with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.
• Capacity planning.
• Maintain documentation of assigned technologies.
• Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations effectively.
• Participates in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards.
  

Job Requirements

• 5 years network engineer experience.
• CCNA or similar certification highly desired.
• Bachelor's Degree highly desired. 8+ years IT experience would be an acceptable alternative.
• Ability to assess new technologies and see appropriate fit with JFG.
