What We Do Seeking a techno functional Product Analyst with extensive experience building solutions on a modern core banking platform. In this role you will help to enable new product offerings for our customers as well as operational improvements for our business. You will, analyze issues reported by business users, define associated problem statements, make recommendations, and evaluate proposed solutions. Working closely with your Product Owner, you will participate on a team that delivers new and enhanced capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will perform and support knowledge sharing on value-add solutions, enabling business colleagues to fully utilize system capabilities, meet the changing needs of our clients and enable growth of our client base.

You will utilize your good working knowledge of a core banking platform (preferably FISERV DNA), its accompanying modules and integration capabilities to enhance the products capabilities. Your strong client focus and agile mindset will help you to deliver on these key responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with internal partners (your product team, Banking Operations, New Accounts, Customer Relationship Management, Compliance/Risk, InfoSec, and other technology teams)
  • Review and understand vendor products, configurations, integrations and release notes in order to:
    • Elicit and capture business requirements
    • Document and map current and future state business processes
    • Notify partner teams of impacts related to pending vendor product releases
    • Participate in the creation and completion of functional and non-functional stories based on architecture/design/business processes
    • Manage implementation of product updates and maintain related application configurations
    • Train business teams on core banking application processes & procedures
  • Manage work items within the product backlogs, collaborating with vendor partners and in-house teammates on delivery
  • As Subject Matter Expert for core banking applications, provide the highest level of support to diagnose issues and provide resolution
  • Perform quality assurance to ascertain compliance to requirements and assist the business areas in their execution of acceptance testing
  • Work with internal teams on completing internal and external audit requests
  • Determine top use cases and core banking product synergies to drive continuous delivery of value

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline, business, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in Information Technology in a business systems analyst or similar function
  • Strong functional banking experience (retail or commercial) with at least 4 years of experience maintaining or supporting a modern core banking platform, preferably FISERV DNA.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, test-to-learn, and iterative software delivery environment utilizing Agile development methodologies, techniques and tools
  • Technical experience supporting or administering internally developed and SaaS platform products
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in incident management, triaging issues and implementing resolutions
  • Working knowledge of Azure Fundamentals (or AZ-900 certification)
  • Ability to discern complex explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various business and technical stakeholders
  • Ability to convey complex business and technical information in a concise manner
  • Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, processes, and policies of a business area
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Craves knowledge and enjoys learning new skills
  • Enjoys planning, organizing, collaborating with team members, sharing skills, and learning from others

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with configuring and integrating the FISERV DNA platform in a techno functional analyst role
  • Strong proficiency of Agile development methodologies, techniques, and tools, preferably within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment.
  • Working Knowledge of SQL
  • Business Analysis certification (CBAP or similar)

The pay range for this role is $109,700.00 - $146,200.00

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
