What You'll Do:

  • Live and foster the IPL/Dyno Nobel Values
  • Perform procurement transaction processes, in a timely and efficient manner on behalf of Dyno Nobel Inc. in compliance with DNA Procurement Policies and Procedures.
  • Manage various material replenishment processes including SAP MRP, Kanban and Vendor Managed Inventory.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through consistent delivery execution, ensuring a cross-functional approach that engages all stakeholders within the DNA Value Chain
  • Actively participate as a team member with other DNA departments in their efforts to analyse the requirements of the company related to materials, services, projects or other classification of goods.
  • Select and maintain sources of supply for assigned areas of responsibility using progressive purchasing techniques and methods, including solicitation of bids, financial analysis, negotiations, contracts, partnering, etc
  • Monitor Supplier Performance in compliance with DNA Policies and Procedures.
  • Manage compliance and governance in Procurement in line with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's Proprietary Information processes with regards to vendor Non-Disclosure Agreements and technical data transmittals of a drawing specification. Including enforcement by other departments.
  • Act as change agent on behalf of Procurement to implement solutions and processes as developed by the centralized procurement group.
  • Seek opportunities and lead initiatives for continuous improvement in business processes and cost savings.
  • Other Duties as assigned in accordance with area of responsibilities (IS, AN, WO, CORP) which may include but are not limited to:
  • Managing & administering Company-wide Programs
  • Originating ongoing supply agreements & managing the Life Cycle of agreements
  • Assisting in training stakeholders to ensure compliance with DNA Procurement Policy
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE Performance Standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP MM (Materials Management) module is required. Experience with other SAP modules related to procurement is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) are highly desired.
  • Proven negotiation and contract management skills, with experience negotiating complex agreements with suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment is essential.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is preferred.
