[1] Georgia-Pacific is seeking a qualified Annual Outage Coordinator to join our containerboard mill in Cedar Springs, Georgia. The Annual Outage Coordinator (AOC) will enhance the maintenance and operations for a given operational area of the mill (i.e. Power, Pulp and Paper) by managing the development and execution of the annual outage plan with defined goals and objectives. This position is part of the Mill's Disciplined Operations and reports to the Disciplined Operations Leader. The AOC works closely with Maintenance Supervisors, Planners, Craftspeople, Engineering, Reliability, Operations, and Contractors. In addition, the AOC will also work closely with resources from the Corporate Outage CoE. The Cedar Springs facility is one of the largest containerboard facilities in the country with three paper machines that make different weights of brown paper & containerboard paper. The Cedar Springs Mill, located in the southwest corner of Georgia is approximately 28 miles from Dothan, Alabama. Dothan is the 6th largest city in the state of Alabama with a population of about 70,000. From Dothan, you are only 90 miles from the beautiful Gulf Coast. What You Will Do
* Own/Establish a set of planning guidelines and metrics for Annual Outages (AO) utilizing the T-365 process and ensure the related milestones and deliverables are being met
* Develop and execute the AO Plan for outage preparation for all Operational Areas- working with operations, maintenance, and the leadership teams
* Verify compliance goals for safety and environmental performance of Annual Outages (AO) are being developed in all operational areas
* Work with area teams on outage logistics
* Develop and execute the shutdown, execution, and Event Free Start Up Plans for Annual Outages
* Lead the development, implementation and follow up of comprehensive Interactive Planning Sessions (IPS) for critical and complex outage work
* Develop AO meeting cadence and effectively facilitate Annual Outage meetings with the areas and during outage execution
* Work with your area to compile a value added P1 and P3 worklist - this worklist should include proper scope, schedule, and cost estimates - lead worklist challenge sessions at the P1 and P3 developmental gates
* Create the AO VSW documents based on the worklist provided by your area
* Coordinate with the Corporate CoE in a timely fashion to obtain required resources to support AO and ensure adherence to T-365 process
* Conduct post-outage critique
* Influence peers and hold individuals accountable for meeting milestones and deliverables for the AO Planning Process
* Make critical decisions, problem solve, and apply economic thinking to the Annual Outage Plan
* Utilize strong networking, collaboration, negotiation and interpersonal skills to deliver a successful AO collaboration and negotiation skills
* Facilitate Annual Outage Coordination by utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills
* Work with each area operations to develop an area Project Schedule, with critical path, for work being performed during the AO - Implement a singular integrated schedule for the outage
* Begin to assist Area on Cycle (Routine) Outages, over time

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Five (5) years of industrial manufacturing experience with planning and coordinating outages or managing large projects
* Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling
* Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
* Experience with Microsoft Project, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

What Will Put You Ahead
* Bachelors Degree or higher in Engineering
* Experience with the Passport/Asset Suite CMMS system
* Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification
* Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (MEA)
* Working knowledge of overall pulp and paper mill processes with a deep understanding of at least one major operational area
