Position Description

Performs specialized analytical duties in the operation and maintenance of assigned area. Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing and developing data relative to area, making recommendations and assisting in implementation of projects. Work is performed under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Major/Essential Functions

Corrective Action & Compliance:

  • Lead and facilitate all corrective action processes for University Student Housing.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures in performance management and disciplinary actions.
  • Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on corrective action procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support investigations as needed.
  • Track employee compliance training and coordinate required registrations.
  • Support and implement new processes and strategies as assigned.
Employee Relations & Development:
  • Oversee the Employee Success Check-In Program to support staff growth and performance.
  • Facilitate department orientation to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Manage the Employee Exit/Stay Interview program to gather feedback and enhance employee experience.
  • Serve as the Department SECC Coordinator, overseeing related programs and initiatives.
  • Participate in departmental committees as assigned.
  • Support and implement new processes and strategies as assigned.
Communication & Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service via phone, email, and in person.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Resolve staff concerns efficiently and proactively.
  • Identify potential problem areas and implement solutions to prevent delays in personnel processes.
Department & Campus Support:
  • Assist with department employee engagement and recognition programs.
  • Support department-wide events and initiatives.
  • Collaborate on special projects as requested by University Student Housing or external departments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus four years progressively responsible related experience; OR a combination of education and/or experience to equal eight years.

Pay Statement

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan by visiting www.depts.ttu.edu/hr/payplan.
