Position Summary
The Lead Person will assist the 2nd Shift operations in overseeing activities on the production floor to ensure on-time delivery. The person in this role works within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all cell activities to assure the meeting of production schedules and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate all cell activities to assure the meeting of cost goals and of maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Coordinate and provide technical, quality and production leadership to cell team members.
- Provide cell leadership to continuously improve manufacturing assembly and process for all assigned products/processes.
- Perform administrative duties to support the business. Example: completion of labor sheets, etc.
- Ability to work outside the regular shift hours to set up the production line.
- Mentor and motivate team in safety, quality and productivity improvements.
- Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects.
- Strong project and team leadership.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding communication skills.

- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Prior leadership/supervisory experience.
