Accounts Payable Clerk

Waste Connections is searching for an Accounting Payable Clerk to join our team in The Woodlands, TX!

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to interact with varying levels of employees and vendors, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to provide support in accounting and customer service. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processes vendor invoices and check requests.
• Reconcile vendor statements to vendor balances.
• Respond to inquiries and makes calls regarding billing problems.
• Maintain the Purchase Order Log.
• Verify and reconcile p-card transactions.
• Sort through mail and send FedEx packages as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Job Requirements:

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team setting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• 3+ year of Accounts Payable experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word is a must).
• High school diploma or equivalent
