Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Enrollment Frontline Representative serves as the first point of contact in the Enrollment Center for prospective and current students, providing exceptional customer service and support across multiple enrollment functions, including Admissions, Records & Registration, Financial Aid, International Student Services and general student inquiries. This position is responsible for guiding students through the enrollment process, answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a seamless student experience.

  • Provide guidance on admissions, registration & records, financial aid, and general student inquiries via in-person, over the phone, Outlook, and chatbot.
  • Knowledgeable and Efficient in navigating and understanding the college website.
  • Interpret Federal, State and College policies and procedures appropriately as well as follow guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
  • Educate students on enrollment steps, deadlines, and institutional policies.
  • Responsible for facilitating registration of students in courses according to established guidelines which may require some judgment in the application of policies and procedures.
  • Assist students with the admission application form, inside cod portal and email set-up, payment plans and/or records functions.
  • Assist with promoting and attending enrollment-related events, such as open house, registration fairs, and campus tours.
  • Understand testing and academic advising processes.
  • Gain a general understanding of other departments' functions to serve as a campus resource for current students, prospective students, and community members.
  • Assist in directing students, prospect students, and community members to specific locations on campus when needed.
  • Utilize Recruit (CRM) and student information systems (SIS) Colleague to document interactions and track student progress.
  • Direct students to appropriate departments for specialized support when necessary.
  • Assist with continuing assessment and evaluation of Campus Central and Admission processes.
  • Provide suggestions to enhance the delivery of enrollment services information.
  • Assist Lead Enrollment Frontline Representative with supervision and training of student workers.
  • Process routine enrollment-related transactions and verify documentation for accuracy.
  • Assist in the development of operational procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Qualifications:

    • Education
      • High School graduate or GED required.
      • Associate degree preferred.
    • Experience
      • Minimum one (1) year customer service experience in an office environment required.
      • Two (2) years or more of high volume, customer service experience in an office environment preferred.
      • Bilingual preferred.
      • Experience with Microsoft Outlook preferred.


    Working Conditions:

  • PC, FAX, calculator, copier, laser printer, multi-line telephone, video recorder, digital projector, scanner, administrative database and student self-service system.
  • High traffic office, greeting the public and answering incoming telephone calls at the Campus Central welcome desk; some minor lifting of boxes as needed up to 20 lbs.
  • This position requires a background check and drug screen.
