From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars. As a PI (Product Introduction) Technician, you'll work closely with teams across the business and be responsible for troubleshooting of Alstom products at customer site in order to ensure their availability. You will also provide technical expertise to subcontractors, warranty support team, project team members and coaching to less experienced field operators. Candidate must above all have an appetite to learn, either mechanical or electrical aptitude, a motivation to discover root cause on their own (conducting necessary documentation review/research), and a collaborative attitude to ask for help and work amongst a strong team.Additionally, the candidate must be able to communicate clearly, including communicating with other recipients who don't have the same perspective/needs as our own. Effective communication also includes being able to independently escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders. Candidate must be flexible to the work environment with Agility as a core working value. Needed flexibility includes occasional (~every 2 months) business travel with as little as 1 week notice (2-4 day trips), changing the daily activity plan to accommodate other stakeholders and the environment.
