WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
The Service Technician is responsible for performing the customer service function with diligence, purpose, and a sense of urgency while maintaining the highest standards for quality service.

Ensures service requests are handled expeditiously and prioritized to meet customer needs.
Compiles data for estimates, bids, specifications, progress reports, and other necessary exhibits.
Negotiates and administers contracts, including final payment approvals.
Maintains databases for contract and contractor statuses.
Reviews correspondence regarding field personnel and site contractors, responding as needed.
Establishes and maintains contact with site contractors for smooth contract awarding processes.
Initiates billable service quotes for site activities beyond Trachte's scope of work.
Reviews project cost summary reports for accuracy.
Manages part coordination with Engineering and Materials teams.
Develops service scope, requirements, and labor with Production Supervisors/Managers.
Schedules service, coordinating labor with various field crews, outside contractors, design, purchasing, and manufacturing.
Follows up on customer satisfaction and provides vital training and critique.
Performs clerical tasks such as filing, proofing data, and ensuring current service documentation.
Initiates corrective actions to improve product quality and service.
Participates in meetings for continuous quality improvement.
Other duties as assigned.
YOU HAVE:
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required.
5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret instructions.
Ability to read and interpret professional journals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Epicor ERP system is a plus.
