Our growing business is looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our Team in Hauppauge, NY. Sensitron is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can support the inside and outside Sales Teams as required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing of quotes, sales orders, and sales order revisions.
  • Interface with distribution and direct customers.
  • Provides support to the sales and production management team.
  • Coordinates meetings with Sensitron Engineering and the Outside Sales Team for customer visits.
  • Set up meeting notices via Outlook.
  • Ensures order accuracy by reviewing orders and communicating necessary requirements and/or changes to the sales representative and customers, to obtain corrected quotes and purchase orders.
  • Understanding all appliable procedures within the department.
  • Handling of external and internal expedites by being actively involved in internal sales meetings.
  • Processing credit memos.
  • Processing ships and debits.
  • Entering and following up with return authorization materials (RMAs).
  • Generating new print reviews and new part numbers.
  • Assist supervisor of sales and VP of sales with running various reports through Salesforce.com (SFDC).


Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience, to include the success of engaging regularly with customers, and other administrative experience related to the Defense, Aerospace and Space product manufacturing environment.
  • Must have interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional telephone sales personality and written communication skills.
  • High level of work ethics and customer satisfaction commitment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, a high level of motivation, requiring minimal supervision and being self-driven to achieve measured and expected success.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and SFDC.
  • Familiar with Draw.io or any other flow chart software.
  • Ability to bring tasks to completion.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required.
