Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

What Were Looking For:

A business intelligence specialist who provides analytical support for senior executives at 11 hotel properties food and beverage operations to aid business performance and strategic decision-making.

What Youll Do:

  • Create actionable insights for senior leadership to guide decision-making in pricing strategies, menu development, inventory management, and promotional campaigns.
  • Conduct research, compile statistical and narrative data, analyze trends, prepare reports, and present findings to management/business partners to inform food and beverage operational decisions.
  • Develop and comprehend operating budgets of varying complexity.
  • Present data and analytics in a compelling way that drives objective and strategic business decisions.
  • Identify activities that may hinder the achievement of operating goals and objectives through research.
  • Investigate problems, evaluate alternatives, and prepare presentations for various processes across tiered F&B operations.
  • Examine market transitions, product mix, dynamic pricing, and marketing tactics to identify changes in guest needs, hotel guest mix, and industry competitive set.
  • Assist with special projects and studies to support upper-level management in decision-making processes.
  • Provide recurring reporting and ad hoc analysis as the subject matter expert, diagnosing requests and identifying the appropriate data sources for Business Intelligence.
  • Assist in developing and implementing business intelligence tools and processes, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for all relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor data accuracy across all reporting tools, resolving discrepancies promptly

Your Experience Includes:

  • 2 years of experience in a professional role where the primary duty included analyzing and reporting on business data.
  • Proficient in data engineering and visualization tools.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including advanced functions such as formulas, data imports, pivot tables, and charts.
  • Familiar with software tools such as Smartsheet, Medallia, HotSOS/Amadeus, Point of Sale systems, and others relevant to the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledgeable in business process management, lifecycle principles, and industry standards.
  • Understanding of relational databases and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Familiar with food and beverage industry trends, pricing strategies, and cost control practices.
